IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Courses

IELTS is an internationally accepted certificate of English proficiency. It is accepted and recognised by universities, immigration departments, government agencies, professional bodies and companies.

It is most widely taken by students applying to study in higher education institutions on undergraduate and post-graduate courses.

Test results are shown as bands with scores of 0 to 9 in the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking). The final test result is an average of the scores in the four skills.

The IELTS course offers the opportunity to focus on the four skills whilst working through sample papers under test conditions. Students are encouraged to use the school's self-access materials for further practice. Tests are available each week, but at least 4 weeks' notice is required to secure a specific date - please contact the school to check availability prior to booking your course.

The actual examination cost is not included in our course fee - the 2019 cost for the IELTS exam is £180.00
